About
I am a PhD candidate in Social and Cultural Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London supported by a Reid Studentship until 2011. I hold a B.A. in History and a B.S. in Anthropology from the University of California, Riverside and an M.A. in Maritime Archaeology from James Cook University in Queensland, Australia.
My interests focus around materiality, memory, heritage, hidden things/places, cultural geographies, place-making, sacred landscapes (real or virtual), audio/visual methods and existential philosophy.
I am currently conducting ethnographic research about urban exploration; the exploration of normally uncharted areas of urban environments.
