About
My undergraduate degree is in Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence from The University of Reading. Where, during my second year I became interested in Neuroscience following this up during my final year project on modulating synchrony in firing rates between two simulated cortical columns of neurons.
I enrolled onto a MSc course at Royal Holloway to pursue Neuroscience further. Here, my research project supervised by Dr. Szonya Durant compared simulations of orientation tuned neurons using rate or frequency based encoding to a reaction time psychophysics experiment to see which is the better predictor.
I am continuing working with Dr. Durant with the additional supervision of Prof. Johannes Zanker for my PhD where I will be looking at sensory perceptions of time.
