Matt Fullerty currently teaches a Fiction workshop and the seminar class 'Reading as a Writer' as part of the M.A. in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway. His novel The Pride and the Sorrow - about the tragic American chess player Paul Morphy and his grand tour taking on the European grandmasters - recently won the inaugural Bookhabit Award 2008. Matt also teaches British and American literature at the George Washington University, Washington, DC and currently lives in London.
